Former Italian Elawmaker lisabetta Zamparutti has expressed her solidarity with the major gathering of Iranians and their international supporters in Paris on July 9 titled “Free Iran.”
In a video message aired by the Iranian opposition satellite channel Simay-e Azadi, Ms. Zamparutti, Treasurer of Hands Off Cain, also condemned the mullahs' regime for carrying out mass executions in Iran, exporting terrorism and murdering the people of Syria in complicity with dictator Bashar al-Assad.
She urged Western governments to recognize the Iranian Resistance as a “reliable alternative” to the mullahs’ regime.
Mrs. Zamparutti added: "We will participate in the major convention held annually by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) in Paris. The Italian delegation and those from other countries will attend the event. I believe that it is time for Western governments to recognize the Iranian Resistance as a reliable alternative to the fanatical and misogynist regime ruling Iran."
Iran:Husband of imprisoned Iranian woman has released a statement about her treatment
London, 26 Jun - The husband of Nazanin Radcliffe, a British aid worker arrested in Iran earlier this year, has issued a statement regarding the accusations levied against her.
Richard Radcliffe’s statement was released via Change.org, on the petition that he created in order to get his wife released.
He reiterates that Iranian press coverage that Nazanin was accused of leading a soft coup to overthrow the Iranian government, and spying. This news came less than a week after the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) told Nazanin that she would be released without charge.
Mr. Radcliffe said: “There is something breath-taking about taking a mother and baby while on holiday – even for the Revolutionary Guard. But to accuse Nazanin of running a global spy operation with a 2-year old [their daughter Gabriella, who is in the custody of her maternal grandparents] in tow seems beyond ludicrous – something out of Monty Python as much as Kafka. “
He detailed the interrogation tactics used by the Iranian authorities. You are forced to hand over the logins for your email and social networking sites, which the IRGC will dredge through looking for anything remotely incriminating; sharing news posts about the Iranian regime, ‘suspicious’ LinkedIn connections. Then they subject prisoners to intense interrogations until a confession, no matter how coerced, is made. In the state-run media, Nazanin has been vilified.

armed conflict and peace process actors will be welcomed in Oslo by Norway’s
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Børge Brende. Included amongst the participants
invited to share their experiences of peacemaking will be Iranian Foreign
Minister Mr. Javad Zarif at this year’s 2016 Oslo Forum. Yesterday evening
former Norwegian MP Mr. Lars Rise for his reaction on hearing that the Iranian
FM is speaking at this year’s Oslo Forum. And we suggested that surely having
open dialogue with these perpetrators of war crimes is better than to freeze
them out of discussions?
